FAQ

How are the colors generated?

Colors are generated using the HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness) color space. A random base hue is selected, then the remaining colors are spread across the hue wheel with balanced saturation and lightness values to ensure harmonious, visually appealing palettes.

Can I keep colors I like while generating new ones?

Yes. Click the lock icon on any color to lock it. When you generate a new palette, locked colors remain unchanged while unlocked colors are replaced with new ones.

How do I copy a color code?

Click anywhere on a color bar to copy its HEX code to your clipboard. A brief "Copied!" confirmation will appear.

What is the difference between HEX and RGB?

HEX is a 6-character hexadecimal representation of a color (#RRGGBB), commonly used in CSS and web design. RGB represents the same color as three decimal values (0-255) for red, green, and blue channels.

Can I use these palettes in my projects?

Absolutely. All generated palettes are free to use in any personal or commercial project. Simply copy the color codes you need and use them in your designs, websites, or applications.
