FAQ

Is it safe to split PDFs here?

Yes. All processing is done locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDF files are never uploaded to any server, ensuring complete privacy and security.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit. However, very large files may take longer to process since everything runs in your browser. For best performance, keep the file size under 100 MB.

What happens with "Split All Pages"?

Each page of your PDF is extracted into its own separate file. For example, a 5-page PDF will produce page-1.pdf, page-2.pdf, page-3.pdf, page-4.pdf, and page-5.pdf. Each file downloads individually with a slight delay between them.

Can I extract non-consecutive pages?

Currently the Extract Range mode supports consecutive page ranges. For non-consecutive pages, you can use "Split All Pages" to get each page separately and then use our PDF Merge tool to combine the pages you need.

Will the split PDFs keep their original quality?

Yes. The pages are copied as-is from the original PDF, preserving all content, images, text, and formatting at their original quality.
